Low in-call volume in Z fold 4

My fold 4 has low in-call volume. I never witnessed such low call volume on any of my flagships - Note 20 ultra, Note 9, S7 edge. In fact on my previous phone i.e. note 20 ultra I used to keep the device a little away from ear because the sound was quite loud. I am a little disappointed. I exhort Samsung to do something through software update.

The speaker is actually at the edge because of that you would need to place the phone at slight angles. I have it and yes at a certain angle it sounds just fine.

I did not know that the phone came with in call volume set at low. Next day when I received a call, I pressed the volume+ key and hurray! the volume became just fine. Now, it is as loud as expected from.a flagship. I am loving the phone every passing day.

1. Disconnect anything plugged into the headphone jack like, selfie stick, headphone, Bluetooth, etc.

2. Remove any third-party case, protective films, or any other accessory that usually comes in contact with your device. (If any)

Check device volume settings
Please follow the below steps:

Step1: Navigate to apps screen and tap on Settings.
Step2: Tap on Sound & vibration.
Step3: Tap on Volume.
Step4: Drag the volume adjustment bar left or right to increase or decrease the device volume.

To verify, play music and check the music sound. If the sound quality is good, then your speaker is working fine.

Clear Sound picker data

Step1: Got to Settings
Step2: Apps
Step3: Filter and sort
Step4: Enable "Show system apps"
Step5: Tap "OK"
Step6: Search Sound Picker
Step7: Tap on storage
Step8: clear data of Sound picker.
