The stock phone app is good and simple to use but IMO can be added with some features to eliminate the need for third party calling apps. List of some features I would recommend for the stock app would be:
1. Group calls in call history
When we call the same number twice or multiple times in a day we have a trace of those everytime in the call record which can be grouped together and a small button can be added to see the call history.
2. Wifi Call Recording
Samsung's stock call recording works great but it doesn't support wifi calls or when we make a call through VoWIFI. This feature can be helpful for people like me who do not receive great cellular signal at home or workspace and rely on wifi calling.
3. Full Screen Caller
While calling we see only a small circle of the contact picture with the stock app which doesn't look great, full screen calling looks brilliant on samsung screens.
All the above mentioned features are already in a third party app that I am currently using instead of the stock phone app, and it would be great if Samsung can add them in comming update.
