Same problem here. What options do we have besides sending the phone and wait MONTHS for a solution?

Hi,

I have the same issue tried to go to Samsung Sevice Center, they started to find excuses, they said my phone has some dent so it is out of warranty, after some arguments, they said you don't have the Samsung + Warranty that cover screens, no one informed me about the Samsung + Warranty when I bought the device.

Finally, they said the price for the screen itself will cost me 520 USD, just imagine.

I prefer to break the phone and buy a Huawei than repairing the screen for 520 USD.

worst service I have experienced in my life, they didn't even try to offer an alternative, like pay for the Samsung + warranty and we will fix it, or give the phone and take the new one with a special price...etc.

I got my z3flip less than 6 months ago and I have the same thing. I have a screen protector and case from day 1. Took it into EE shop they said it was a fault and no marks, cracks whatso ever on my phone so sent it away for repair. Today they asked for £360 to fix it. First said a crack on the screen, then I asked for a photo, they said oh no not a crack but someone has used a sharp object to push in at the camera!!?? No, why the hell would I and not a accident as the phone is closed when in my bag so nothing could have done this. I am so angry right now.  Funny as I was worried about the fold in the screen going at some point, not this issue.

So, my Zlip is dead(half dead) now . But before it died I learned a lot of things about foldable screens . Had an Incident with my cat and accidentally hit my phone display and some pixels died .Kept on using it and after that the crease got cracked but the phone remained functional. And lastly ,after 1year of use I droped the phone with the display open and it literally made a hole through my screen and half my display went dead .But still the phone turns on but I can't go beyond the lock screen .
Actually, foldable displays have a lot of potential and it's really fun to use a foldable touch phone but this thing still has to go through several generations to be sturdy and free of design flaws .
