Samsung’s upcoming foldable smartphone is going to be a beast. Early tests for the Galaxy Z Fold7 Global and US versions show they’re basically on par in terms of performance. It’s clear Samsung isn’t playing favorites with its 2025 foldable lineup.

The Global Galaxy Z Fold7 (SM-F966B) has just scored 2896 on single-core and 9226 on multi-core in Geekbench 6.4.0 tests. The US version (SM-F966U) secured 3022 for single-core and 9307 for multi-core, with results shared back in April 2025.

Both phones pack the same Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with 8 cores. Six of them run at 3.53 GHz, and two clock at up to 4.47 GHz. This unique CPU cluster ensures the phones can handle multitasking or heavy apps and games.

The Global and US versions of the Z Fold7 run Android 16, which makes sense for a 2025 flagship. The memory shows as 10.72 GB on both, but it’s a 12GB configuration, which Samsung usually puts in the Galaxy Z Fold handsets.
