Are samsung service centers providing a replacement screen protectors for foldables? I have a zflip3 with some scratches on the folding display. The first boot specifically mentioned not to remove the original screen protector. I really want to swap this one out now. Anybody has any experience with replacements?

Don't think samsung is replacing the screen guard for free.

Have a read

Thats a sad experience. Even gadgetshieldz doesn't provide a screen protector for this device. Will have import a skinomi guard now. This is very annoying.

Yes, but why are people buying the fold 3 I don't understand, considering all the screens turning black once this screen protector is removed.
Btw Samsung mention the protector is an integrated part of the display (for fold and flip) and it's removal can damage the display (plus void warranty). Rest is your choice.
I believe Samsung should replace it for free since the device is under warranty.

Samsung replaces it for free in US and korea. But as usual Indians are given second class treatment

Unaware consumers don't claim their rights here. Either people have money but no knowledge or have knowledge but still no awareness of consumer rights here. Sad!

Im even ready to pay for a replacement here. But these guys are actually declining the service. In the end stuck with a scratched protector with no options whatsoever. Its so sad after spending so much on this. Il probably exchange this device soon.

In the above twitter case, the services asked the customer to replace the whole screen instead of the screen guard. And on top of that the customer had to pay for it.

This is one of the reasons why one should stay away from new tech. Foldables have still a long way to go and hopefully should be matured enough within 4-5 years.

Your right. Thats what bugs me. Replacement cost for a screen guard is something im willing to pay. But having being asked to replace the f**kng screen is bonkers
