Quickshare was GOOOOD. The current version of it is askin for you to toggle Bluetooth on ,in both the devices. I don't remember doing that previously. I mean the devices are literally connected to the same wifi network and it still asks for a Bluetooth permission all the time.
Bluetooth even for my devices seems like an extra unnecessary step.
Yeah, I have logged in with the same account in Tab and Phone. Previously, there was no need to turn on Bluetooth,even though I don't have to turn on QuickShare on other device. It used to discover device automatically, but now I have to turn on my Bluetooth. In the sense that it has been downgraded.
'Nearby Share' Android's sharing method is now integrated in Samsung's 'Quick Share'. That means 'Quick Share' will be replacing Android's 'Nearby Share' for every Android device. So we will have only 'Quick Share' as sharing method for Android.
Turning on 'Bluetooth' was required on 'Nearby Share'. Maybe because of the new changes and making it compatible for all Android 'Bluetooth' is necessary.
Yeah, it's annoying. Let's hope it gets even better and seamless where 'Bluetooth' requirement is no longer needed.
