Samsung’s regular Camera app that we all use to capture pictures and video is full of neat features and modes, and in the last year or so, Samsung has been extending camera features and camera customization on flagship phones to help users get more creative.

Samsung introduced the Expert RAW app in late 2021 for advanced users, and eventually introduced it to other flagship phones going all the way back to the Galaxy S20 series. The company then followed up with the Camera Assistant app, which brought a number of options that let you customize the behaviour of the regular Camera app in certain scenarios.

However, while Expert RAW and Camera Assistant are excellent apps, both are exclusive to Samsung’s flagship phones. But it seems the Android 14 and One UI 6.0 update will end that exclusivity, at least for Camera Assistant.

Camera Assistant arriving on Galaxy A phones in late 2023

According to a Samsung community moderator, the company is working on bringing support for Camera Assistant to Galaxy A smartphones in the later half of the year “at the time of One UI change”. One UI 6.0 is not explicitly mentioned, but that is no doubt what we’re supposed to take away here as One UI 5.1.1 will mostly be limited to Samsung’s foldables.

A list of all the Galaxy A phones that will get Camera Assistant support has not been revealed either. However, expect it to be exclusive to devices like the Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54, and Galaxy A73 for some time before Samsung decides to include more mid-range devices.

We can also expect Camera Assistant to have almost all of its options enabled on Galaxy A series phones. Some of them include the ability to turn off auto HDR capture, decide whether the camera focuses on faster capture or better post-processing, force the camera to capture multiple photos when a timer is set (very useful when you’re taking selfies), and more.

It might be a bug due to which you were able to access it however Samsung closed it. Now they are creating hype for A series, marketing strategy bro. Expert RAW will stay for flagships only atleast for now. Flagships are selling well

Yes, agree but Samsung did make a mistake bcoz now if they try to sell Exynos who are going to buy it. Exynos-powered 2400 is coming with S24 series so will see what happens

Whichdevice u have whtever u have
Just enable safe mode for atleast 15 minutes.
And if prblm persists, just go to recovery mode by rebooting ur deviceand click on vipe cache partition
And still persists rest settings and still persists factory rest ur device
And still persists go to nearest samsung service ,explain. Ur prblm to them
It could be having a software glitch so u may need to get latest and official software to fix the glitch.
