A Request for Samsung to Bring Good Guardian to India

 Enhancing the User Experience with Good Guardian 

Good Guardian is an outstanding suite of applications developed in-house by Samsung, designed to enhance and optimize the overall user experience. This application group offers a superior level of functionality and usability compared to similar tools like Good Lock. It provides a comprehensive set of features that cater to the needs of Samsung users, helping them unlock the full potential of their devices. 

However, it is disappointing to note that despite its excellence, Good Guardian is not available for users in India. This limitation deprives Indian users of accessing an exceptional set of tools that could significantly enhance their Samsung experience. 

Given the growing demand for advanced device management tools in India and the country’s prominent position as a key market for Samsung, it is surprising that Good Guardian has not yet been made available here. Indian users deserve access to the same high-quality software that users in other regions enjoy. 

Therefore, I urge Samsung authorities to prioritize the introduction of Good Guardian in India. This step will not only satisfy the expectations of Indian users but also reinforce Samsung’s commitment to providing a consistent and superior experience for its global customer base. 

Making Good Guardian available in India will be a win-win scenario for Samsung and its Indian users. It will enable Samsung to showcase its commitment to innovation and inclusivity while empowering users with powerful tools to enhance their digital lifestyles.

I use it on my phone.
It is not available in store, but there are plenty of ways to install it.

I also know how to install it in a crooked way.But why? Why on a crooked path? That's where my question lies, which you may not have understood.When it's Samsung's own application, why wouldn't Samsung let us do it?That's my question.Why should we install Samsung's own application as Samsung users in a roundabout way?

The technical answer for why it is not available for Indian customers:

The components of Good Guardian like Battery Guardian and Thermal Guardian does only make sense with actual figures if you do have a Snapdragon or partial figures if you have an Exynos processor.

In India, they sell many M, F, J series variants with Mediatek processor and the figures which it will show in Thermal Guardian is basically off track.

Moreover, in Indian Version of SoC, the pre-configured settings are very different. When semiconductors of different functions are gathered into one chip, the space they take up is minimized, allowing miniaturization of products. It also poses other benefits like reducing the production cost compared to making several semiconductors separately.

The downside is, the Lab functions in Good Guardian will not work as intended and will show off tracked benchmark.

For example, Thermal Guardian threshold and temperature spikes.

So you mean all the thousands of S24 Ultra, Z Fold, Z Flip being sold in India are not suitable for using Good Guardian? If that's the case, then we have to say Samsung is cheating people? Is that what you mean?

I am using the same example of S24 Ultra / S24+/S24 example as you.

If you buy an S24 Ultra
You get Snapdragon globally.

If you buy S24+/S24, then
If you get either of the two devices in Europe, UK, India, Dubai, you’ll get Exynos 2400

The Snapdragon variants of those two smartphones are available in the US, Canada, China, South Korea and Hong Kong.

Now, see the correlation, Good Guardian is available for installation in the same region.
