So, indirectly it means more bigger screen..less bezel or no bezel device..more prone to damage..more dependency on gestures..so, in future more useful features will be removed and gestures will take complete control..like Lg v50 thinq,,Lg G8 thinq, coming pixel 4, and Vivo upcoming model..
yes I am still against of it because bezel less screen reduces the tech that could be built in the bezel screen . I never want bigger screen I wanted a compact device that could be easy to handle and I want new biometric type I never used the head phone Jack from starting when I first took my grand 2 since then I am not using the headphones Jack. even today i am still not using . in recent days i took a wireless charging pad . which latter lead me to reduce the usage of usb port . now you will ask me how I was able to retain my data the simple answer is google photos for storage of photos and video . google photos helped me a lot since grand 2 to a5 2017 to latest s9 . if i want to transfer my files I use Samsung flow se rvice and the the airdrop for mac now one hand plus operation made me reduce the usage of buttons in my device. yes indeed the gestures system will eradicate the buttons in device, however I only want top bezel for the sensors that all . I dont care about the updates as long as I am satisfied with my device I will never upgrade to any devices especially the company which is reducing the tech. say for the s10 of yours Samsung stuck with primitive fingerprint scanner. next in note 10 plus and note they removed the heart rate sensor and of course the iris scanner . next big thing is I use professional camera to capture photos yes do use the phone camera but at very little moment when I forget my camera in home .
That's why I wrote..more gestures configured apps..means bezeless device (or device without button or device which totally relies on gestures),big or small screen doesn't matter..but very soon gesture will gonna takeover(android 10)..So, more useful features will gonna be removed like your iris scanner or so on..At, the end of the day, this is the trend..
Your first line contradict your post, if you want compact device, then there is no need of such apps..(don't get me wrong), because I can't trust gestures 70% of the time it fails..palm swipe screenshot capture is the perfect example..another example is show palm to capture your photos.. I used this app once and I didn't like it..(its my personal opinion), still I like navigation buttons more than the gesture navigation..
I feel it same way too never used the two gestures like you one is palm capture and the other is the show hand to take selfie . by the way I hardly use my front camera to take selfie photos I hate is most of the time and 90 % of the time accident happens due to selfie like dropping your phone car crash . missing in the sea . these are the reason I am always afraid to take selfie.
