If your Samsung phone frequently asks you to switch SIMs for calls, here are some fixes based on your situation:

1. Enable "Ask Before Calling" (If You Want Control)

If you want to choose a SIM before every call:

Go to: Settings > Connections > SIM Manager

Enable "Ask always" under Preferred SIM for Calls

2. Set a Default SIM for Calls (If You Want It to Stick to One SIM)

If your phone keeps asking even when you want to use a specific SIM:

Go to: Settings > Connections > SIM Manager

Under Preferred SIM for Calls, choose SIM 1 or SIM 2 instead of "Ask always"

3. Disable "Auto Data Switching" (If Network Switching Triggers It)

Samsung's auto-data switch can sometimes cause issues:

Go to: Settings > Connections > SIM Manager

Turn off "Auto Data Switching"

4. Turn Off VoLTE (If One SIM is for Calls and the Other for Data)

Some networks force a switch when VoLTE is enabled on both SIMs:

Go to: Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks

Toggle off VoLTE calls for one SIM

5. Reset SIM Preferences

Go to: Settings > Connections > SIM Manager

Toggle both SIMs off and back on

Restart your phone

6. Check Your SIM Card Placement

If the issue persists, swap the SIM card slots or reinsert the SIMs properly. If you use a physical + eSIM, try reactivating the eSIM.

If none of these work, let me know your Samsung model and One UI version, and I’ll suggest more specific fixes!

Kindly note that you have two options to choose from. You can either enable "Ask Before Calling" (if you prefer to have control over the calls), or you can set one card as the default. Could you please confirm which option you would like to proceed with, so we can address this accordingly?
