There will not be any more update for S8/S8+ as it has already received 2 major updates. ( That is, already received Oreo and Pie ) A Samsung device can only receive 2 Android upgrades. You will only get security updates.

What about j series and ON series.

Please the update Roadmap from Samsung. Only that devices are eligible for updates. All other devices are only for security updates
