Galaxy S1. Remove all existing Fingerprints from your settings (Biometrics). & MAKE SURE YOUR DEVICE IS UP-TO-DATE (SOFTWARE, SYSTEM APPS ETC)
2. Restart your phone
3. Make sure you don't have any Tempered glass Installed, as some tempered glass can create such issues. (Tempered glass that supports Ultra Sonic Fingerprint scanner can be used).
4. Clean the Screen, specially the fingerprint scanner area.
5. Register New Fingerprints
6. While creating fingerprints make sure you're not applying too much pressure on the screen, as that can effect the scanned data, leading such issues.
7. NOW IT SHOULD WORK PROPERLY.
- Tell me, if that help.
