notification app badges not working

notification app badges with number not working .It cannot show unread notification on app icon

They removed unread notifications as badges in oreo... its just number of notifications in notification view now.. if we slide it the badge also will be gone....

That's neither a problem nor a bug. It is just the way of accessing notifications in android 8.0.
