Recent apps are very common so while recent apps there are list of all apps that are running on ur phone just press any of the app icon for 2 - 3 seconds, it will show many options one will be 'open in split screen view' click on it, that app is opened and from app menu u can open another app also with whom u want to work with, alongwith the app that is opened in split screen view
