galaxy s7 discontinued??

i heared from some mobile shop owners that samaung galaxy s7 is dicontinued.
Is this true.if yes then what's the reason behind?

S7 is discontinued as a part of Samsung 's marketing policy, i guess. Earlier models used to be available even after 3 years at a very low price which indirectly adversely affects the brand name as once a phone sold for 40k- 50K comes at around 15k (Look at S5) From S6 onwards this policy has been applied. So samsung stops production when another flagships get launched and try to finish its stock. As a result you may see the S6 ended at a price of roughly 30k which is not as bad as S5. The e-commerce sites get a huge discount from samsung to help finish their remaining inventory, as a result S7 at 29k on flipkart.
