If you disabled Google Chrome app then enable it and try to open Gmail app... It worked for me.. Don't know what the fucking relationship between chrome and Gmail app... Once I disabled it and my Gmail, Samsung email, paytm, airtel app,Icici app all were stopped working... I followed up with customer care couple of times but no luck.. Accidentally I enabled it and tried... Now it's working fine... Hope this help...
