Galaxy S
please bring the ability to move large apps and games to the SD card introduced in Android marshmallow which is also known as adoptable storage which is currently lacking on the galaxy s7 edge
this feature known as adoptable storage helps to treat the SD card as a part of the internal storage and directly install apps onto them
you guys gave the option of an expandable storage on the galaxy s7 edge but what is the use of that option if we can't utilise it's full potential??????
I would highly appreciate if you could please introduce the option of adoptable storage on the galaxy s7 edge series via a software update
thanks in advance

Adoptable storage was designed for much lower end devices. Samsung had very good reason to disable it by default since it just isn't appropriate for a device with high end specs. If Samsung provided it as an option many people would carelessly enable it and then end up flooding the web with reports that their phones have suddenly become inexplicably laggy.
If you want me to guide you on how to enable it I can but I'm sure you won't be happy with how much it cripples the speed of your phone. You can force any storage device connected via USB OTG to be adopted using one simple command:
--------adb shell sm set-force-adoptable true-------
Adoptable storage is really only useful for two things:
1. An SD card placed in a phone or tablet and never to be removed
2. A USB storage device attached to your Android TV box, and never to be removed

You could've blocked converting low speed sd cards to internal memory instead of not showing the option at all.. Or showing warning message should have sufficed..
In my galaxy s5 also this feature is not there which has 16gb occupied by all default samsung and Google apps.. No space for installing a game.
There is a correction to this message "An SD card placed in a phone or tablet and never to be removed"..
It can be converted back to portable storage and it can be used in other devices

You can check link : https://www.xda-developers.com/enable-adoptable-storage-for-galaxy-s7-and-s7-edge/
As we already said, Samsung has already disabled it by default. Please be advised that by activating through procedure of above link may bring some issues in your device, hence not recommended. We hope your query is resolved.
