Anyone facing battery problem on galaxy s7 after august update patch? Using continue 50% drained before 1 hour... never happened before this update

my device (galaxy S7) is over-heating & restarting a lot after august's security patch update. tried factory reset and took it to Samsung service center for clean os installation, but still facing the same issue. and the people at service center said its due to motherboard issue. but everyone's facing the same issue after august update. and samsung officials just don't want to accept it. that its software update issue. they want me to replace motherboard. that's 15,000 rupees.
