because samsung is disabling essential features form the ui.

oneplus doesn't have much layers on top of the androids that's why they roll out stable update as soon as new android launches.
but Samsung has 9-10 layers and additional features on top of the stock android that's why it takes a bit time.
the S10 family will recieve the update.
the beta programme will start soon
and stable update will roll out by October end or November as per reports.

The fragmentation makes it slow to update the Samsung phone. They have US specific model with carriers which requires approval. So virtually not possible for Samsung to update early unless it is a pure vanila version or a special edition.

I too wasted money on note 10 . Oneplus 7 pro was a better option 💔.

for these people. Better update = best mobile however the buggy update maybe.
when Samsung would launch its beta program they would be cursing Samsung about the poor battery life, lag etc. Eventhough they know that it's a beta not a stable update.
