Its good to see third android update to s8 and note 8 because all midrange and low range smartphones are getting 2 updates.

Then flagship must get 3.

After all we are paying so much premium amount for premium treatment

Actually it's Samsung policy to give only 2 update we can't control policy. We can be only optimistic about it.

why there is no mention of s8 plus?

Actually if Note 9 can run Android 10, so can Note 8. I feel Samsung must provide Android 10 to Note 8 & S8.
If Android update is not possible, Samsung must provide One UI v2.0 atleast.
