Hi, I recently purchased s23 ultra ( from india) and using local Carrier network (Airtel). From the first day, right after inserting my physical sim card, I am having a persistent notification that do not go away whatever i do.Even the notification settings for App - "phone services" is disabled.Attaching the screenshots for the same.

Possible Fixes I tried
  • Activating voice mail for my carrier network and Setting up voice mail on my phone, and hearing the voice mails.
  • Clearing call settings data and cache.
  • Clearing App - "Phone" data and cache
  • Clearing App - "Phone Services" data and cache.
  • Factory data reset of phone.
  • Trying to silent the notification.
Nothing worked !!!

In my case I noticed that I get this issue only when I use my Airtel sim(indian carrier network) but with other carrier networks, and with other Airtel sims iam not facing this issue.

Fix / Workaround I used:
Converted my physical Sim to E-Sim and that issue is now gone, now i do not have any persistent notification lying in the notification bar.

Clear data of 'phone' app then go to settings》general management》reset》tap and do reset all settings (It will not delete any personal data).

If found useful/on point then tap on 3 dots and accept as solution.
