Hi everyone,

I'm facing an issue with my new Galaxy S24 Ultra (purchased exactly one month ago). I previously used a Galaxy S20 FE 5G, and Wi-Fi calling (VoWiFi) worked flawlessly on the same Wi-Fi network with my Jio SIM.

However, on my S24 Ultra, the Wi-Fi calling feature is not working at all. Even when I disable mobile data or enable airplane mode with Wi-Fi on, VoWiFi never activates — the phone keeps showing VoLTE only.

To clarify:

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

Previous phone: Galaxy S20 FE 5G (VoWiFi worked perfectly)

SIM: Jio SIM

Issue: VoWiFi is not activating on the S24 Ultra, even on the same network

Tried:

Turning off mobile data

Using airplane mode + Wi-Fi

Restarting phone and Wi-Fi router

Checking that Wi-Fi calling is enabled

Same Jio SIM and Wi-Fi as before

It seems like Wi-Fi polling isn't working, or the phone is simply not switching to Wi-Fi for calling.

I've attached a screenshot showing that even under Wi-Fi, the phone remains on VoLTE.

Has anyone else faced this issue with the S24 Ultra and Jio? Any suggestions or fixes would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Go to settings > about > reset > reset mobile network settings.
Again about > reset > reset WiFi and blue tooth settings
Now settings > Connections > mobile networks > VoNR on SIM.
