Why does the notification drawer redesign and app icons update take precedence over functional and privacy focused features like a simple app lock?
Why don't Samsung devs heed the community?
What is this design vision that doesn't take into account user's feedback?
Why is it that $100 to $300 phones from competitor brands have app lock with blurred app preview, but a $599 and above Samsung budget premium to premium phones don't have it?
What is the constraint of Samsung Android devs that they prefer reinventing the wheel of tweaking the notification drawer instead of useful features that are available in some other version of their same OS(app lock is available in China I believe)?
Lastly, how to get these questions to Samsung devs ears from here? Will they have the honesty to address this without corporate speak?

Correctly asked. They are more keen to ui surprises. People will wow it. The actual crucial things remain unnoticed.
