Even premium Samsung phones still miss basic privacy features that budget phones already offer.

There is no native App Lock for individual apps. Secure Folder is not a real solution because it creates a separate space. Users need a simple way to lock existing apps, including third-party apps.

Also, the Private Album in Samsung Gallery uses the same lock as the phone. If someone knows your phone PIN, they can easily access private photos and videos. This defeats the purpose of privacy.

Samsung should: • Add native App Lock
• Provide separate passcode or biometric-only lock for Private Album

This is a basic expectation now. Many users are already discussing this.

Does anyone else feel the same?

Many people have been feeling the same but samsung has no mood to develop this feature as the user base for this feature according them them is too small.

The way around solution for this is 3rd party apps, preferably an antivirus come other features software like Bitdefender but, it's not free and needs a subscription. If you also use a PC you can buy there bulk subscription for around 799 in amazon and activate it in Bitdefender central website the download and sign in using same email ID.

If this comment helps you then click on 3 dot on this message and select accept solution. Thank you.

I understand your point, but relying on paid third-party apps is not a real solution.
This is a basic privacy feature already available in many budget devices.
Samsung should provide a native solution instead of expecting users to depend on external apps
