Why S22 ultra 10x super telephoto lens is taking washed out pictures?

Since several months, s22 ultra owners are facing this issue and even after going through several updates, the issue is still not fixed after june 2023 update.

The 10x lens processes washed out image but it works fine in gcam and expert raw app.

See this case, i am 10 ft away from subject and main camera app is giving seriously bad output...filters and everything is off..

Check the physical condition of your camera lens.

1. Broken camera lens.
2. Scratchy camera lens.

Please check there is no laminated or tempered glass pasted on the camera.

Use a microfiber cloth or a cleaning wipe. Gently remove the fingerprint, dirt, and dust from the camera lens.

If the issue has not been resolved then Reset camera settings
Please follow the below steps:

Step1: From the home screen tap on Camera.
Step2: Tap on Settings.
Step3: Scroll up and tap on Reset settings.
Step4: Tap on Reset.

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).

Are you serious? Why my camera lens will be defective when other apps are taking proper pic on 10x lens? Is this how you do job by pasting canned message everywhere to appear on top of charts in your company?

Is your problem solved for camera? I am having same issue. Till 9.9 x it camera is OK. But from 10 x everything changing to whitish. Quality also big problem.

Im having the same issue. And tired of zooming in and out of the pics WHILE TRYING TO CAPTURE A MOMENT hoping that the zoom lens will get back to normal. PLEASE FIX THIS AS THE WAY YOU BROKE IT SAMSUNG!!!
