What D Hell is wrong with Samsung

Samsung calls itself as Top teir brand competing with the likes of Apple and Google. But does Samsung really offers that level of support to their devices. Look at Apple they provide minimum 4 years of iOS update, lets leave apple, even in Android ecosystem Google and OnePlus offers 3 years major os update, and here is Samsung which is not supporting S8 and Note8 with Android 10 despite the hardware inside is totally capable of supporting it. 

Than what is the use of buying Samsung flagship, why not pay less and buy OnePlus. Samsung you really did the blunder this time, and when you cannot support your premium devices with updates stop comparing yourself with Apple. Most of S8 and Note8 users feel betrayed right now. You gave me another reason to forcibly switch to some other brand. Right now I am feeling to do this to my S8.

I would agree with you that Samsung has only two years of update and like it's competitor one plus has 3 years of update.
So consider this scenario in which you are choosing a OnePlus flagship for a Samsung flagship ie choosing one plus 7t pro for note 10 +.
After 3 years OnePlus will be recieving it's last update but note 10 would be on last year's android.
Well, having an older os doesn't make a big difference. I can live with android 9 instead of android 10. It won't bother me that much.
Well If you had chosen the note 10 you could have got one ui which is much better than oxygen os.
You also don't get a premium build on your one plus device like Samsung .
You won't get Samsung's gorgeous display.
One plus may seem fancy on paper but there is no other android company which which offers such a big competition to Apple in premium sectors.
Samsung is the best brand when it comes to android flagship.
One plus is just great on paper
