I don't know it's Samsung one UI 7 fault or Google change it's system for privacy.
If you hard reset your device and try to login in your google account with Email and password, you have to still verify yourself , Google will send you a " Number" and and a pop up message, you have to mark " Yes it's me" and choose that " number",

Problem- Until you haven't login your google account in any other device, that message and number won't appear and you simply can't login,
Phone number verification often blocked by Google displaying the message " too many request today, try again after few hours".

Solution - Iogin your google account in another device before you hard reset your device, so that during the time of verification you can receive the message and number.

Mistake done here: You should remove account from device before hard reset. Or you may turn off skip password when possible in Google account settings.

What can you do now: There should be another option that says 'choose another method' or something like that.

If possible please send screenshot.

It doesn't matter whether you remove google account from your device or not before hard reset, you will face the problem, Google has added extra layer of security/burden, since, they think, everyone have laptop and they login there with their google account

Google has provided only three option for " try other option"
1) Phone number verification which they blocked often
2) Message and numerical digit popup verification, for which you have to login in your device or somewhere else to receive them
3) Security code verification ( 16 digit code valid for 15 min only ) still need another device where your google account already log in as you have to visit in Security and sign in section there to access security code

No if we will remove account before it will not asks for password because it then know that the device is not logged in and Google cant send popup to verify.

See with these settings I can log in with my password and authenticator code. No need to tap yes. If I forget something I can reset it with with my recovery mail or no.1752740001974.jpg

I one this because I have also done the same mistake. That time I had 2 Google id in same phone and I did a hard reset.
I took me 1 month to get my both id back.

Just hard reset your device and make sure you aren't login in your google account in other device.
Nothing will help you. Try yourself once.
All those options will only appear after you login in in your google account

It seems you have not seen my screenshot.

Can you please tell me if your account has 2 step verification on. (In your case probably not, because we have to set it, it is off default)

Also when you try to sign in did Google try to ask your password? (Skip password when possible is on by default in every account so I assume Google did not asks for password to you instead that popup and tap on that no (such a headache))

Please clarify these 2.1752741581042.jpg

All willn't help when you hard reset your device and you haven't login in your google account in another account.
