Wait for S23 series or go with S22 Plus ?

Would it be better to wait for S23 series ( S23 Plus ) or purchase S22 Plus right now.

Asking because of the battery issues and Snapdragon 8Gen1 problems in S22 plus.

I'm a moderate user who doesn't play lot of games, just do multitasking and other stuff.

I'll be using my mobile for at least 3 years and 4 years max.

Will the S22 survive well till Android 15 or create mess ?

Any suggestions would be very helpful and appreciated.

If budget is not a problem and you can wait, wait for S23 series.

I really want to but I just can't. The features I mostly use in Android (One Ui) aren't available in the ios. I use over 300 + apps in my device for free whereas some of them are available for subscriptions and some are not even available in the iphone. And there are many such things which force me to stick to Android.

I have the same usage like yours, i have few paid few, free apps and I also use torrent downloader; in apple you just cant. But still I am thinking to give away my S21plus and buy an iphone. Its better to have normal day to day apps work properly then to have 100 apps which you dont use too often.
Every few months/weeks you have to format samsung phones to get the optimum performance, still it will hang, lag and its battery die early which is not expected from a beefy battery phone.

Better to wait for s23 plus. When it launches the s22 will get even more cheaper and then you can decide whether you want to spend the extra for s23 plus

You should either go for the pixel 7 pro or wait for s23 series.

Regarding durability, from s20 series onwards no one can assure the durability of Samsung phones.

Except the SD processor version and Camera pixels there will be no new features. Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5/6 version we are getting as a common features. Charging will be 45W+ if you go for atleast S23+ . I suggest you to go for S22 series but wait until s23 release. Price will be cheaper.

When you will wait till s23, there will already be remours and specs leak for s24. Its a never ending cycle. We are in October now, s23 might release by mid March 2023. It's should be based on your requirement. What happens if samsung plans on releasing S23 series in India again with Exynos? Or SD Gen2 have even more heating issues? Never ending process. If you want buy it. Speculations will always be there
