Update On S7 & S7 Edge Oreo Firmware

Ok so i called customer care and asked them about the oreo update for our s7 and s7 edge ! He said that the updates are released in a sequence after testing by their " LAZY A## " Develepment team, recently A7 2017 was updated to android oreo and now S8 oreo patch ! and when i asked regarding our s7 and s7 edge he said he doesn't know ! Its being tested by a different department. As per as i am aware of each country has their own development team who tests the firmware and UK was fast as they worked hard to test it and release it fast..they also faced a bug but quickly fixed a patch, South Korea too joined the list of successful update release squad but well India 😂 always late as usual ! eating samosa or having ### with staff 😆 ! I won't say about usa cuz its carrier dependent..But ours is international variants so i believe it should be easy ! Guess what The firmware of Oreo Of UK works perfectly when flashed with indian csc ! I dont know whats wrong with our country ! -_- PATIENCE IS OVER A LONG TIME AGO ! well he said my feedback is being send to the development team ! I SUGGEST YOU ALL CALL CUSTOMER CARE AND TELL THEM U NEED THE UPDATE OR MAKEUP SOMETHING ! Cheers

most of the part i agree with you but UK oreo firmware works perfectly i dont agree with you. there is a cell standby drain which is not present in the nougat.i am posting few screens check for yourself..cell standby with 1% is for nougat and the other two are oreo screens

oh i didn't know that , Most users who did this reported that it was working perfectly.. maybe due to nougat csc there is some conflict

m on official nougat n cell standby 4% usage is being shown
i think its on network stability too
i stay under wifi all day so my consumption should be less as i have also kept my phone on 2g and yours was on 4g so that could make a difference too

cell standby issue can be resolved but resetting the network settings.

first time in my life i bought samsung (s7) bohat badi galti kardi yar. ye in logoki strategy he..old device ko last me hi update karo. chahe fir vo flagship model hi kyu na ho.

u have not brought any ordinary device. samsung software is already good enough with all the features . they are a bit slow when compared to updates . i would get samsung anyday as one plus dont have customer care or any good thing here in india. Enjoy the great display,camera,battery life of this beast. the Oreo will reach surely by next month .
