Galaxy S1. Using Samsung's Trade-in program, you'll recieve R10 000 for the S23U. Without it it's around R7k(but not relevant in this case).
2. You'll need to buy the Fold first, then they use the proof of purchase to activate the 10k 'voucher'.
3. No matter where you buy the phone, SPs, Takealot or Samsung directly, the voucher won't work
without the Fold being paid for first.
4. As a side-note, if you decide to go the contract way, instead of getting the 10k they discount the monthly payment.
5. I would recommend buying from Vodacom (the website not in-store) since they always have a better discount on getting the phone cash more than anyone else, including Samsung. Right now it's 42k for 256GB or 45k for 512GB in comparison to 43k for 256GB at Samsung, no pricing for 512GB.
6. So to answer your question 😅 first buy the Fold, then go to:
https://www.samsung.com/za/trade-in/
Select smartphone and you can take it from there.
Unfortunately 'paying the difference' doesn't apply here.
