Galaxy SHello Samsung Team,
I'm encountering a critical issue on my Samsung device running One UI 7 (Android 15, Build DYD9). After taking a screenshot, the touchscreen randomly becomes completely unresponsive. This issue occurs intermittently and is not limited to any specific app or usage pattern.
When this happens:
- The touchscreen stops responding entirely.
- Hardware buttons still work, but the device cannot be interacted with via touch.
- The only way to recover is by using ADB from a PC and issuing adb reboot. Force restarting via buttons doesn't always help if touch doesn’t return after reboot.
This seems to be a serious software bug in the DYD9 build and needs urgent attention. It severely impacts usability, especially for users without easy access to ADB tools.
Please investigate and advise if you need system logs or further information. I appreciate your support in resolving this issue.
Thank you.

Galaxy SI'm frankly shocked and disappointed by your suggestion to perform a factory data reset after a major software update. No responsible or competent company should require users to wipe their entire device just to make a system update function properly. Other manufacturers manage to push stable, reliable updates without asking users to jump through such drastic hoops. Why is it only Samsung that insists on this outdated and unacceptable workaround?
A factory reset is not a solution—it's a sign of poor quality control and a lack of commitment to user experience. Instead of asking users to fix Samsung’s problems, perhaps the focus should be on delivering a software update that doesn’t introduce bugs and instability in the first place. We deserve better from a company of this scale.
