Allow some time; the information should appear automatically. I experienced a similar delay initially.

On settings go to Loclscren & AOD - now bar - select sports from google - follow sports/teams

True, I love the animations and the levels of customisations they have provided. But these small bugged UI elements are still found in the final versions which shows the lack of quality checks before rushing the update 😊
