Telephoto camera on s20 fe 5g

My telephoto camera isn't even working whenever i switch to 3x its just digitally zoom through my main lens i don't know if its a software issue faced only by me or anyone else hasn't noticed it yet

When you switch to 3x the phone camera automatically switches to telephoto. Similarly when you switch to 0.5x camera automatically switches to ultra wide. There is no separate telephoto mode.

By that i mean its not using the 3x camera it's just zooming through main lens

My understanding is that it uses the telephoto lens

It is supposed to use telephoto lens for 3x shots but whenever i choose 3x from the option it just use my main lens and crop in something its perfect idk maybe its a camera bug

3x telephoto lens switch happened only when enough lighting was there. Otherwise it digitally zoom from primary lens. I faced same issue in note 10 plus

Reset the camera app
Its a bug i think
If it does that in dark scenes its common
