Storage space bugged / malfunction One ui 5 or malware?

Hi guys I just encountered a small problem when i was casually using my phone today regarding the storage.

I was using my phone normally and suddenly "my files" bugged by saying i have no storage left even though i have 33gb free left. When i saw through device care it showed my overall stirage space was 8gb. I went to my files and internal storage showed 0/0B. I got scared so i restarted and everything went back to normal. Unfortunately i didnt get to take a screenshot of it cuz i restarted almost instantly when i saw my internal storage 

I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem. Does this mean i picked up a hidden malware or its just a one ui 5 bug? Thanks in advance.

Sometimes the Data partition malfunction. If after a restart you see the same behavior then it is of concerning otherwise it is completely normal and fine
