Galaxy S
Dear Samsung Team,
I have been a loyal Galaxy user for 6 years, and while I appreciate the improvements in One UI 8 (AI tools, new multitasking features, security upgrades, etc.), I feel one very important and basic feature is still missing — a native App Lock option.
Many other brands (Xiaomi, OnePlus, Realme, etc.) provide a simple App Lock where users can secure individual apps with fingerprint, PIN, or pattern directly, without needing to move them into Secure Folder. Secure Folder is powerful, but it is not a practical replacement for daily use.
It requires extra steps, creates duplication of apps, and feels too complicated for something as simple as protecting WhatsApp, banking apps, or gallery. For many users, App Lock is more useful than some of the flashy AI features.
We appreciate innovation, but at the same time, Samsung should focus on delivering the essentials that truly matter in daily life. I kindly request Samsung to add a native App Lock feature in future One UI updates. This would make Galaxy devices much more user-friendly, especially for privacy-conscious users.
Please consider this feedback seriously, as it reflects what many Galaxy users expect. Thank you.
