Does anyone how if there is a way to block these spam messages I've been getting? I get added to a group chat with 10 or 11 members and the name of the group is usually something short and random letters and numbers. It's promoting things like work and bitcoin.
I block and delete it but it comes again.

Maybe try switching to Google messages. Google messages has built in spam filtering.

○ Open your Messages app.
○ Tap the three dots (More options) in the upper right corner.
○ Go to Settings.
○ Look for "Spam protection," "Caller ID & spam protection," or "Block numbers and spam."
○ Enable any options related to spam protection or filtering suspected spam messages. This will automatically filter known spam into a separate folder, so you won't be notified.
