Vo5G or VoNR requires standalone 5G network which airtel doesn't has. Airtel uses Non standalone 5G architecture to provide 5G.

Basically it uses 4G as it's core network to provide 5G, whereas Jio has Standalone 5G architecture which has zero dependencies on 4G. Jio uses 5G as it's core network unlike airtel which uses 4G.

That's the reason you can't get Vo5G or VoNR with airtel. To make or receive calls over 5G you have to port your sim to Jio...
