It's a November month end.  Still haven't received the security patch update for November.

Nobody wants a phone who even retailers cannot service. Nokia's parts are not available easily in the market. I have a nokia 6.1 with Android one but on v10. The charging port is damaged but had a hard time replacing it

Yes bro most Nokia new phones have this charging port and frequent restart issues. If you are still using Nokia by any chance then I have found a solution for the charging port issue, stop the Nokia cable for charging, use any other cable with the Nokia adaptor. It is actually the cable's defect.

Original Nokia parts are not available but similar unbranded parts are available. I also have Nokia 5.1 plus and got the same charging port issue. And got it easily replaced with local repair shop. You will be hard time if you go to service centre.

I have not heard of any Nokia service centers. I replaced it with a local retailer who took 2 weeks to get the part

There are Nokia service centers in major cities. Many people reported they got charged about 900rs -1200rs just to change the charging sub-board and that also get defected in few months. I get my phone's charge sub-board replaced only for 250 rs in local repair shop. I think your retailer was not so much into this or they were just making you to wait unnecessarily. These parts are available online on Amazon. You could purchase one and get replaced by anyone capable doing this.

Samsung has really improved in its update schedule. It's just one of the rare instances where we did not get a security patch for a month. No other vendor is as serious as Samsung. We certainly can live with a missed month of a security patch unless someone is really doing something fishy on their phone

Ya true....but you are paying paying premium as compared to other smartphones with a same specs.

So atleas we can expect regular/timely updates from Samsung.

It's a one off case. I have the S10+ since launch and if i remember correctly maybe this is just the 2nd time that a security patch hasn't come on time.

Yes, actually I was reading about it and this ddelat is due to the upcoming OS update (android 12). And they will include all the security updates when they give the os update. My only issue is when same models in some regions have received it then they should provide to other regions as well specifically because India doesn't have any carrier locked devices so it is easy for them.
