Android 8 was supported till 2025 so that's long time bro.

Even android itself stops suport for very old android versions.

Pic says it works with google home too maybe try it'll work.

Yeah but android 8 was released in 2017 they supported that for more 7 years.
Support can't go on forever for old android version bro.

i have an s24 u but i use s9 plus as well but why cabt they just leave the app without giving any updates or features or even without giving customer support. Why remove it

I think android/google decides that not samasung. And after some point old version of Android can't support new app updates also.
