Galaxy SBut you need not worry much because the thief won't be having any access to your personal details related to online banking. Google passwords, PIN etc.
Factory Resetting the phone erases all the data and you'll require to go through many procedures before you can start using it again. You can never have at least a Galaxy phone unlocked in such a manner.
But regarding theft, the thief generally sells the phone in suspicious markets from where the phone is destroyed and the expensive parts are taken out from where they earn a lot of money.
Concluding, the suspect will be selling your phone. They won't even care about your SIM card and personal details. But having an esim is generally better for further security.
