Many users have been complaining about the notification panel problem on A,S series devices. I also face the same issue along with a new one, so i decided to share it with samsung support on WhatsApp. Initially, the chat was with their software assistant, the assistant recognised the lag problem and said that"samsung is aware of the problem. It is due to compatibility issue between Good lock module home up and Android 12. Samsung is scheduled to release a new software to fix the issue".

As i was not satisfied with the response as i had been getting the same response for quite sometime from them, i decided to talk with human support. Told them about the problem and interestingly they recommended me to have a physical inspection of my device because all their baby troubleshooting steps had not worked, so they considered it a physical problem/hardware problem.

Interestingly, the physical problem occurred only after the one UI 4.0 update!!

Pathetic experience and service.

If HomeUP module is causing the problem, have you tested this by uninstalling/ disabling it?

I have HomeUP too, but i don't have this problem.

I did, the problem persisted. Never faced any problem with 3.1, just hate this 4.0. Foolish of me to update the device

Do you have this issue?
When in landscape mode/ watching any video/ reading any PDFs, try to drag the panel when you have quite a few notificatios, please check whether you observe a weird animation when the panel shows up.

Also, does the same problem occur when you drag the panel after using an app for say 10-20 minutes, non gaming apps.

If problem is still present after uninstalling HomeUp, then it is not the reason for this problem.

As with animations, i haven't noticed that either, although i don't have too many notifications unattended to at any point of time.

If it is something non-essential, i wouldn't bother too much with it.

Ok, i do believe as well that home up is not the problem, it is something else.

I was able to get rid of it with 4.1 update as i had installed 4.1 using smart switch but installed April security update using the ota and after i am left, again, with this issue. Maybe reinstallation of the whole firmware resolved the issue. Anyway, i will install may security update using smart switch, hope the problem solves
