Samsung's Quiet Alliance with Google: What Does It Mean for the Future?"

Google Gemini

It’s no longer a mystery — Samsung has clearly realized its mistake in not acquiring Android and is now quietly forming strategic partnerships with Google. This shift has become more apparent with the recent Samsung Unpacked event, where the focus seemed less on Samsung itself and more on Google — with Google’s presence dominating the show.

S25 Ultra

While I’m excited to get my hands on the new S25 Ultra, this growing collaboration between the two tech giants raises several important questions:

1. Battery Life Promises: The S25 series promises up to 31 hours of video playback, yet the S24 Ultra also claimed a similar 30-hour promise, which we all know didn’t materialize in real-world usage. Will this claim live up to expectations, or is it just another marketing tactic?

2. The S Pen Dilemma: I’m not an avid S Pen fan, and I’ve mostly used it for work-related tasks like signatures. While I’m not criticizing the removal of the Bluetooth and gyro sensor, I do feel like Samsung has missed an opportunity to innovate in terms of creativity. I was hoping for more features that would truly enhance the experience.

3. The 7-Year Android Update Claim: Samsung promises up to 7 years of Android updates, but the experience with the S24 Ultra after just one update left a lot to be desired. With significant issues in camera quality, battery life, and performance, it makes you wonder — if the first update is this troublesome, what happens after seven?

These are just a few points, and while I could add more, the reality is, Samsung hasn’t been particularly responsive to feedback in recent years. The question remains: will they ever prioritize consumer concerns over the long-term?

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this evolving relationship and how it affects your view of Samsung’s future.

Consumer concern matters hugely but we, who don't like IPhone, have no options except to accept whatever Samsung does or doesn't do.
I don't much fancy Iphone so I have to stick with Samsung unless another brand gets as good 🙏

I used to be a Samsung fan, but it seems I have no choice but to switch to an iPhone as their updates have gone from bad to worse. What kind of testing team do they have? Moreover, the numerous green line issues are disappointing. Samsung could take a lesson from OnePlus, which boldly acknowledged the green line problem and introduced a lifetime warranty concept starting with the OnePlus 13 series.

Bro you are far from the reality.. they have started this with other models as well.. and what they do it offer a replacement with some charge or offer a phone replacement where they set a price for your faulty ph.. no one is playing fair here, hamam main sab nange hi hain bhai, the only fact is iPhone, Samsung both are same.. other chinese variants are never the trust worthy... The only option isee.. what u have just keep it enjoy it.. u wanna upgrade then dont look for any suggestions from this community, if you have issues dont share unless its just technical.. if you are here to share hate and criticism... Welcome amd it will not affect samsung a bit.. just just a platform to clear your stress.. 😂😂😂
