Samsung’s approach to beta testing seems to diverge from the conventional methods adopted by many other tech companies. Typically, beta testing is a collaborative process, where developers actively engage with users, gather feedback, and refine the product based on the insights provided. However, Samsung appears to follow a somewhat different, two-pronged approach to its beta testing process.

On one hand, there is a model where the beta version of the app or software is released with the intention of collecting detailed, structured feedback from users. In this method, developers actively listen to the feedback, make necessary updates, and release subsequent versions of the beta based on the issues identified. It’s a responsive, iterative process that allows for continuous improvement based on real-world usage and user input.

On the other hand, Samsung’s beta testing process can sometimes feel more detached from this collaborative approach. In this model, the beta is released, but the feedback mechanism seems to be somewhat passive or even ignored. Users provide their insights, suggestions, and criticisms, but it often feels like those contributions are not seriously considered or acted upon. Instead, the company seems to continue working at its own pace, driven by internal priorities or personal preferences, rather than responding to the needs and concerns raised by the users. Updates are then rolled out when Samsung believes enough time has passed, or when they feel the beta has been sufficiently tested — often only after receiving significant negative feedback, which could be seen as an unintended response to a less than perfect product.

This approach can be frustrating for users who want to feel that their input is valued and that the beta testing process is an opportunity for mutual growth — where their feedback directly impacts the product's evolution. Instead, it sometimes feels as though Samsung is releasing the beta with minimal regard for user feedback, following their own timeline and interests, and only acting on suggestions when they feel the pressure becomes too great.

In essence, while Samsung's beta testing program does have the potential for valuable collaboration, it often seems to follow a more unilateral approach — where the focus is less on user-driven improvements and more on internal priorities. This could benefit from a more balanced, responsive, and transparent approach to foster better engagement with its user base and lead to more refined, user-centric updates.

You covered salient points of Samsung towards customer. All along I feel Samsung has become narcissistic and self centered to push it's agenda whether it is rollout of software or addressing hardware issues post an update, viz green line.
Samsung is under false belief that it is the king of Android and can do anything as per is whims.
It should realise that Chinese dragon is breathing hard down it's shoulders resulting in Samsung losing it's carefully cultivated trust and customers.

Short me batata hu me. Samsung abhi andhere me hai, apni hi starlight me dimaag chakra gaya hai. Us ko lagta hai wo kuch bhi karege customers kahi nahi jaane wale hai. But other brands ab progress kar rhe hai. Oneplus apne 13 series me life time screen warranty de rha hai. Os updates bhi ab time pe aane lage hai. Nothing bhi software updates me faster hai. Aaj ki date me sab se late latif bigdail hai sw dept. Me to to samsung hi hai. Thats all.

I was wondering why Samsung chose not to release the One UI 7 beta program for the S23 series.

The latest flagship model is the S24 series. It seems unlikely that S24 owners would upgrade to the S25 unless they are tech enthusiasts or have extra funds. Therefore, Samsung released the One UI 7 beta for the S24 series. This strategy might prevent S23 users from experiencing One UI 7 before the release of the S25 with One UI 7 based on Android 15, potentially encouraging S23 users to upgrade to the S25. This appears to be Samsung's intention.
