Dear Community members,

I have an issue with Samsung music, when I play any song over a Bluetooth connection, the sound is very low and muffled.

When I play the same song with the same Bluetooth connection using another app, the sound is normal.

Kindly check below setting and give me hints if any.

It Says Some Stuff Wont Work When Dolby Atmos Is On, So Turn Off Dolby Atmos Is Probably The Best Thing

All settings seems perfect.
Just try disabling the Smart Volume (not sure whether this is the solution)

thank you for your reply,
I tried to disable the sound leveling .. but it didn't help.

I have other Q, by enabling Dolby atoms , will it effect other music apps?
or it is solely related to Samsung music?

It will affect all the audio output from the device.

Hi,

Please check the volume of the mobile device first. While connnected to Bluetooth headset, please increase the volume on the mobile device. Make sure the volume adjusted is for Bluetooth media and calls.

Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling Samsung Music?

I had a similar problem. It had been happening for me since the last big software update on my phone.

I use bluetooth for music in my car a lot and it  just became really quiet, not muffled just quiet

I tried Amazon music and found the volume back up where I'd expect it

I also found turning Dolby Atmos off actually made it even worse, a lot quieter with that turned off, as in could hardly hear anything at maximum volume.

Took the app off and put it back on and mine was back to normal
