My Samsung s21 got completely drained and wasn’t turning on. I tried hard reset after charging it for 30 minutes but it only goes till the Samsung logo and then shuts down again immediately. If I try to hard reset it again, it shows the battery logo on screen with a circle and a thunder logo in the middle without any green bar(so zero percent charge). I also tried pressing the volume up and power button but nothing happened.

It was midnight so I kept the phone on charge for almost 8 hours and tried everything again but nothing worked. The phone boots up and I even get to see the Samsung logo, but it instantly shuts down. Please tell me what to do!

Service centre is your best bet. Still in warranty?

Went to service centre, they said I'll need to shell out 2300 just to check the device!

Went to a local repair shop and the guy turned on my phone for free! He said that there are some issues with the battery when it discharges fully.

But as far as I know, my battery is perfectly fine and the phone also charges till 100 percent, it's just that after a discharge, the display doesn't go beyond the logo screen which is really frustrating! Guess changing the battery pack is my only choice. What do you think?

Hmm that's typical Samsung customer care and service centre attitude right there. I recommend people to visit their service centre ONLY if the device is in warranty period. Because otherwise, from my experience, they lack the expertise and is extremely expensive.

And yes, it's anyway better to keep the battery always above 15 percent at least. I usually keep it between 20 and 85 most of the times. So don't know whether my phone have this issue of turning on after full discharge.

Charge it for 1 hour after plug out then just press and hold lock button after samsung logo appears just leave it and see in what time it will open, if it takes long time to open like 5-6 minutes and then also not opening then just leave as it is or Visit SC once

If you charge your phone 100% and after that if you still keep mobile on charge for long time than sometimes this type of issue happens..

And if we talk about the SC they are just trying to make money if the problem is very common...
