eSIM needs specific hardware which is not present in S20 FE 5G
Thus it can't be enabled by software update

Global variant has eSIM support but for Indian variant they removed the hardware to reach that aggressive price

This is so ludicrous Samsung! I bought the S20 FE 5G model specifically for this feature, after seeing eSIM advertisement capability for "S20".

I chose the FE 5G from the S20 family,  cause of larger screen & 5G. 

How would I suspect that this member of the family would lack such an important feature?

I just found out and I feel so cheated.  Especially knowing its just a bloody firmware flag somewhere that can be fixed with an update!

Shame on you samsung, next time you sell inferior models,  at least CHANGE the name of model entirely.  Say its Sx20, not S20 with something following!
