Glad to see that samsung is getting fix the green line issues in most of the phones (having the green line/white line issue after software update), with just nominal charges (approx ₹ 500).
They are replacing the whole display, and they are claiming just the service charge, which I guess, okay (though it is not worthy to penny as the problems are being created by their own software update).
Conditions for Eligability:
1. Devices in warranty (as obvious),
Devices out of warranty,
2. Devices having problems after software update.
Don't pay extra. If any inconvenience occur, call samsung service center toll free number and lodge the complain.
There is no official quote by Samsung as of now. But my brother faced the same problem with s21 fe, which 2 years old device, and with my suggestion he went to the Samsung Service Center and they acknowledged the problem by themselves and charged only ₹ 540 for whole display replacement, as it is Samsung's fault.
Call official samsung service center for details. If your regional service center are not accepting the terms, then lodge a complaint in National Consumer Forum. It will help much.
