Galaxy SI noted that the face tagging in Samsung Gallery is poorly implemented,
It couldn't detect any face even though the photo is clearly showing a face in it. Furthermore, its a portrait of a person.
The face tagging frequently tagged the same person in the same photo more than once. For example, in a photo, there are 4 people and 2 persons are tagged as "John". Sometimes all 4 of the people are tagged as "John". When this happen, renaming a person will cause all of them to become the new person. If I tap on the person's name, it will show all the photos of that person. Removing the wrong "results" from here will cause gallery to completely remove the tagging for those wrongly tagged people. Meaning, in that photo, there will be only 1 tagged person and the other 3 are completely removed and cannot be retagged.
The face tagging almost always tagged everyone wearing spectacles as the same person.
The "who is this?" suggestion is plainly dumb. No one in the suggestion is correct and basically no matter who is to be tagged, the people listed in the list are the same. In my case for example, the list will always be "John, Mary, Peter, etc".

in my j7 max I am not seeing face tag option even after getting oreo update.i have also given my phone reset.but it still not working.
