Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Receives January 2025 Security Update

• Samsung has started rolling out the January 2025 security update for the Galaxy S21 FE, focusing initially on Exynos models in the US, with a Snapdragon rollout planned later.

• This update, based on Android 14, addresses over 50 vulnerabilities, including 5 critical CVEs, 24 high-level CVEs from Google, and 22 Samsung-specific vulnerabilities (SVEs) affecting various features.

• The update also incorporates One UI improvements, paving the way for the upcoming Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update currently undergoing internal testing.

• Users can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install on their Galaxy S21 FE devices.

@balaleo On which device did you get the green line? I'm using an S22+ and got the green line after the December 2024 security patch; I later had the display replaced. Now, I'm afraid to update to the January security patch.
