Galaxy A55 and A35 could receive Galaxy AI features. The company is reportedly preparing to bring certain AI features to its mid-range smartphones as part of the One UI 6.1.1 update. It remains to be seen whether the input is true.
According to a report, Samsung could provide Galaxy AI features to A55 and A35 devices. These will become the first non-premium Galaxy models to get AI functions. At present, the Galaxy AI suite is limited to a handful of flagship models.
If the report proves true, it will be a quite big development in the Galaxy ecosystem. While Apple and Google are keeping their AI features limited, Samsung is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible to uplevel Galaxy experiences.
Debuted with the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung’s AI features expanded to Galaxy S22 and later flagships. The company previously announced it to fuel 200 million Galaxy devices with AI features before the year ends.
The update rollout for the A series is expected in August or early September. However, it is worth mentioning that all Galaxy AI features won’t be supported. The company will surely keep some functions exclusive so the flagships stand apart.
Galaxy AI brings various productivity features and tools to Samsung phones. Live Translate, Chat Assist, Note Assist, Generative Edit, Interpreter, and Circle to Search are some of the beloved features by Samsung fans.

Android 15-based One UI 7 will come out later this year. The company will likely begin the Beta Program in the coming months in South Korea and India. This isn’t a confirmation, but based on previous records, Beta is likely with country restrictions.
